I play the piano all my life and I can tell, I played a lot of piano / keyboard! As a brand that I played. So what are the main differences between the Yamaha and Roland? Now,Not many, really. In my opinion it is too difficult to decide between Roland and Yamaha. I own a Yamaha (click on the link at the end of this article to a revision of the plan that I own) and I like it. Yamaha are great because they are the same for the quality of a Roland, but they are almost always less expensive. However, Roland's higher-end models offer the best functionality and sounds, but that is mostly irrelevant to the beginning player.
